Plumeware LLC is the parent company of Timeplume, Workplume, Peoplume and Siteplume. We build software for the parts of a business where the record matters — who worked, what was requested, what was paid, what was approved on site.
The name
Why “plume”?
A plume is a feather, and for most of history a feather was what people kept records with. Ledgers, contracts, muster rolls and site diaries were all written with one.
Each of our products is a modern version of that job. They differ in what they record; they agree on how a record should behave once it is written.
Principles
What we hold every product to.
Built for more than one branch
Branches, departments, countries and projects are part of the model from the start — not a setting bolted on afterwards.
Records that stop moving
Approved timesheets lock. Payroll runs freeze. Site decisions keep their author and timestamp. What was agreed stays agreed.
People see what their role allows
Permissions are scoped to a branch, a team or a project, so a manager sees their own people and nobody else’s.
Your data can leave
Exports, report builders and APIs are part of the product, so the record is yours to take wherever you need it.
